In 2001 I went for a year at an outdoor life folk high school in Lofoten. I had tried climbing 2 times when I was a kid but it wasn´t before I met the psyched climbers at the school I found the interest for climbing. Lofoten is well known for the trad climbing, so there where I started. After this year I went back to Bergen and started sport climbing. In 2004 I was at a half-year road-trip in France and Spain for sport climbing. The conclusion after miles of sport routes and deadly amounts of lactic acid was that I wasn´t born to be a sport climber. I stow my rope in the basement and bought a pad. The last years I have seen great progress and had many memorable moments bouldering with my friends.
